My name is Jennifer and I have over 800 California state approved hours to practice massage. I studied at the Western Institute of Science and Health in San Francisco from 2002-2003 and the Healing Arts Institute formally in Citrus Heights in 2015. I have been trained in many modalities including Swedish massage, Deep Tissue massage, Hot Stone Therapy, Pregnancy massage, Raindrop Technique (using Young Living essential oils) as well as several other modalities. Massage is one of several wonderful ways to help relieve stress, tension and anxiety. It is truly a wonderful way for you to allow yourself the experience of being in the present moment and releasing the many stresses of day to day life melt away.
Deciding to become a massage therapist was an easy decision. I worked in several fields where I felt stressed out and unfulfilled. I found myself longing to be in an environment that was peaceful and calm. Massage therapy provided that not only for my clients, but for me as well. It has allowed me to live my life with purpose and value based on what I am able to give to my clients.
In my personal time I love to do a variety of activities. During my free time I look forward to spending time with my family and friends. I am passionate about living a healthy lifestyle and that includes working out, going for walks and hikes and playing with my dog. I love to read, cook and of course spend time with my dog.
